Wholesale & foreign trade merchant with focus on foreign trade (m/f/d)
With a training period of three years, we train and congratulate you at the end of your successful training as a wholesale & foreign trade merchant. Your focus will be on foreign trade and our trainers as well as the entire team of Schellen & Flack will be at your side with advice and support at any time during your training – so that you become an expert of tomorrow! To give you an idea of the exciting job of a wholesale & foreign trade merchant, we will give you a first overview of the upcoming training contents below.
1. Year
While the first year of training naturally also includes many organizational topics related to your training, you will already be working with our merchandise management system, getting to know the product range and taking over the purchasing of goods.
2. Year
In the second year of training, we will deepen your knowledge and focus on topics such as trade-specific logistics and procurement planning. You will also support us in marketing with a wide range of measures and be actively involved in sales and customer consulting.
3. Year
Foreign trade transactions and foreign markets are two exciting topics in the third year of training. In order to be able to measure and evaluate business processes and performance, cost and performance accounting as well as controlling and payment transactions are also on your list of skills.
Exciting training with perspective
During your apprenticeship, you will pass through all the different departments in our company, such as Purchasing/Sales, Accounting, Quality Assurance & Production – so you will get all the exciting and instructive information directly from first-hand experience in the respective department. Certainly, aspects such as the daily working hours, vacation days and, of course, the remuneration are also a decision factor for your training. In addition to the training salary, which is determined by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of North Rhine-Westphalia, we are happy to give you an insight into the advantages of training at Schellen & Flack:
- 30 days vacation
- We start every day at 7:30 – 16:00
- Fridays until 14:00
- your vocational school lessons will be deducted from the above mentioned times
